El ex candidato presidencial de la coalición Por el Bien de Todos (PRD-PT-Convergencia) Andrés Manuel López Obrador afirmó que es inaceptable e indignante que por mantener los acuerdos políticos entre los partidos Acción Nacional (PAN) y Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) se siga sosteniendo a un "gobernador antipopular, siniestro y represor, a costa del sufrimiento de los oaxaqueños", y que sea el pretexto para que la Policía Federal Preventiva ocupe la ciudad de Oaxaca.
The ex-candidate presidential of the coalition "for the Good of All" [and legitimate president] Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador [AMLO] afirmed that is unacceptable and indignant that keeping the political agreements between the National Action [right wing] and Revolutionary Institutional [right wing, the party in the power the last 70 years] parties to following the sustaining of an "antipopular government, sinester and repressor, against the suffering of the Oaxaca people" will be the motivation for the ocupation of the City of Oaxaca by the Federal Preventive Police [dependent of the Federal instance- this means, the government of Fox]
A continuación se transcribe la carta del ex candidato a la Presidencia dirigida a la opinión pública y al pueblo oaxaqueño con el título "Alto a la barbarie contra el pueblo de Oaxaca":
In the next paragraphs is transcribed the letter of AMLO directed to the public opinion and Oaxaca people with the tittle "Stop the violence against the People of Oaxaca".
Nada bueno se logrará con la toma de la ciudad de Oaxaca por parte de la Policía Federal Preventiva.
Nothing good could be got with the invation of the City of Oaxaca by the Federal Preventive Police.
El punto de partida para la búsqueda de una solución de fondo al conflicto en Oaxaca pasa, necesariamente, por la renuncia del gobernador Ulises Ruiz.
The beggining for the searching a real solution in the conflict of Oaxaca will be necessary with the renuence of Ulises Ruiz Governator.
Es inaceptable e indignante que, por mantener los acuerdos políticos nacionales entre el PAN y las cúpulas del PRI -que se reafirmaron con el fraude electoral del 2 de julio pasado y con la imposición de Felipe Calderón-, se siga sosteniendo a un gobernador antipopular, siniestro y represor, a costa del sufrimiento de los oaxaqueños.
Is unnacceptable and indignant to keep the national political agreements between PAN and PRI leaders -that were reafirmed with the electoral fraud of the past July the 2nd with the imposition of Felipe Calderon- will be sustained with an antipopular governor, sinester and repressor, against the suffering of the Oaxaca people.
Es evidente que la mayoría de los oaxaqueños no quiere al gobernador Ulises Ruiz. Baste recordar que, en las pasadas elecciones del 2 de julio, nosotros obtuvimos en ese estado 191 mil 719 votos de ventaja con relación al PRI y 391 mil 820 votos más que el candidato presidencial de la derecha.
Is evident that the majority of the Oaxaca people do not want the governor Ulises Ruiz. We have just to recall, that in the last elections of July the 2nd, we got in that State 191 thousand 719 votes in advatange over the PRI and 391 thousand 820 votes more than the presidential candidate of the right wing.
Esta votación no sólo expresó la adhesión de la mayoría de los oaxaqueños al proyecto alternativo de nación que postulamos sino que significó, en la práctica, una especie de plebiscito en contra del gobernador Ulises Ruiz.
This votation do not only just expressed the joining of the majority of the Oaxaca people to the alternative project of the nation that we postulated, even mean, practically, a kind of plebiscite against the governator Ulises Ruiz.
Por lo anterior, es a todas luces una barbaridad querer mantener, con el uso de la fuerza y la opresión, y con el dolor que ello implica, a un gobernador repudiado por los oaxaqueños. Ni en la tierra de Juárez ni en ninguna otra parte debe tolerarse semejante atrocidad.
For this situation, is an evident wrong that keeping the use of the force and the oppression, with the pain that this implies, a governor repudiated for the Oaxaca people. Nor in the land of Juarez, neither another place could be tolerated a similar situation.
